Jonida and Kevin’s wedding at the Landmarks Art and Garden Center in Tiburon was a perfect blend of elegance, intimacy, and unfussy beauty—just like the two of them. With spring in full bloom, the lush garden setting overlooking the Bay made for a dreamy backdrop to their celebration.
This was a day centered on connection. No over-the-top frills, no manufactured moments—just honest emotion, laughter among old friends, and family ties that ran deep. From quiet moments getting ready to an emotional ceremony under the trees, everything unfolded naturally. Their wedding was a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful days are the ones that feel the most like you.
I documented the day with a mix of 35mm film and digital, leaning into a documentary approach that allowed me to capture the realness of the day as it happened. Film added a nostalgic softness to the portraits and garden details, while digital helped freeze the fleeting in-between moments—the teary hugs, belly laughs, and casual glances that say everything without words.
